Delightful Rating:
Social debutante, Grace Arbon is the only daughter of the powerful Wallace Arbon, CEO of Arbon International Safety Systems (AISS). When Grace lays her eyes on Blake Hastings and dances with him at her best friend’s wedding, things progress and she is soon smitten by him. In time, Blake, an ex Army man come lowly construction worker, truly adores Grace. But according to Wallace, Blake is neither born of the right societal echelons nor one whom he would ever choose or consider as a suitor for his only daughter. Beleaguered, not willing to let go of Blake, Grace is strong willed and holds on to him as her heart’s desire.

It is of no consolation that, Grace’s mother, Stella Arbon, is forever jet-setting to distant shores, spending large amounts of time and money on selfish frivolities with her lady friends, leaving Grace to settle for her father as her only family bond and blood tie. Grace tries to sway her father away from his snobbish beliefs of having a low regard for Blake, outclassed by her powerful and prominent family and is tirelessly in the hope that, one day, her father will eventually see sense and change his mind about Blake.
Amazing Grace is a short, sweet and compelling read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
